Monetization Policy
Revision No. 1 dated June 1, 2026This Monetization Policy governs how creators earn income on the voomy platform and is an integral part of the Creator Guidelines and other platform documents.
By using voomy monetization tools, a creator agrees to this Policy.
1. General provisions
voomy enables creators to earn income from users through paid subscriptions and other monetization tools available on the platform.
Monetization is provided exclusively within the platform's functionality and may be used only in compliance with:
- the Community Guidelines;
- the Creator Guidelines;
- this Monetization Policy;
- applicable law.
The administration may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to monetization tools in the cases provided for by this Policy.
2. Sources of creator income
A creator may earn income through:
- paid subscription tiers;
- paid access to content;
- other monetization tools officially supported by the platform.
The set of available monetization tools may change as the service evolves.
3. Enabling monetization
To use monetization tools, a creator must:
- have an active voomy account;
- follow the platform rules;
- provide the information required to receive payouts;
- complete the checks required by the platform or its payment partners.
The platform may refuse to enable monetization without explanation if there are grounds to believe that its use could violate the platform rules or legal requirements.
4. Platform fee
voomy charges a fee of 10% of each successfully completed payment for the use of its monetization tools.
The fee is deducted automatically before income is credited to the creator.
The platform may change the fee in the future by notifying creators in advance.
5. Payment system fees
Additional fees may be charged by:
- banks;
- payment aggregators;
- payment systems;
- other financial intermediaries.
These fees are paid by the creator and may be deducted from the payout amount.
The amount of such fees is determined by the relevant organizations and may change independently of the voomy platform.
6. Crediting income
Creator income is calculated based on subscription fees and other payments actually made by users.
Income is considered provisional until the end of the funds holding period.
The platform may adjust credited amounts in the event of:
- a refund to a user;
- payment cancellation;
- a payment dispute;
- detection of fraudulent transactions;
- technical errors.
7. Funds holding period
A funds holding period (hold) applies to protect users, creators, and the platform.
Funds become available for withdrawal 14 calendar days after the user's payment is successfully completed.
During the holding period, funds are shown in the creator's balance as pending confirmation.
8. Creator balance
A creator's balance may contain:
- available funds;
- funds in the holding period;
- funds held in connection with disputed transactions.
Creators can view their balance status through the platform interface.
9. Payouts
Payouts are made at the creator's request through the platform interface.
A payout request may be submitted when the available balance is sufficient.
Once a request is confirmed, the payout is generally made within 5 business days.
The actual time it takes for funds to be credited depends on banks, payment systems, and other financial institutions.
10. Minimum withdrawal amount
The minimum withdrawal amount is 1,000 rubles.
If a creator's available balance is below the minimum withdrawal amount, the funds remain in the balance until the required threshold is reached.
The platform may change the minimum withdrawal amount by notifying creators in advance.
11. Refunds to users
A subscription provides access to digital content and digital services.
As a rule, no refund is issued once a user has been given access to content.
Exceptions may be made in the event of:
- a duplicate charge;
- a technical error by the platform;
- an erroneous payment;
- legal requirements;
- other exceptional circumstances at the administration's discretion.
Each request is reviewed individually.
12. Payment disputes
If a user disputes a payment through a bank or payment system, the platform may:
- temporarily hold the disputed amount;
- restrict withdrawals;
- request additional information from the creator.
Until the dispute is resolved, the disputed amount is considered unavailable for withdrawal.
If the payment is found to be invalid, the corresponding amount is withheld from the creator.
13. Reviewing creator activity
The platform may review a creator's activity when there are:
- user complaints;
- requests from rightsholders;
- signs of fraud;
- suspicious payment activity;
- violations of the platform rules.
During a review, the platform may:
- restrict withdrawals;
- suspend monetization;
- temporarily restrict access to content.
14. Monetization restrictions
Monetization may be restricted or disabled in the event of:
- violation of the Community Guidelines;
- violation of the Creator Guidelines;
- publication of prohibited content;
- infringement of third-party rights;
- fraudulent activity;
- artificial inflation of subscriber, view, or payment counts;
- use of another person's means of payment;
- provision of inaccurate information.
15. Holding funds
The platform may temporarily hold a creator's funds when there are:
- open payment disputes;
- large-scale refunds;
- suspicions of fraud;
- violations of the platform rules;
- legal requirements;
- requirements imposed by payment partners.
The hold remains in effect until the relevant circumstances have been reviewed.
16. Ending monetization
A creator may stop using monetization at any time.
The platform may stop providing monetization tools:
- if the platform rules are violated;
- if there are material risks to users;
- if required by law;
- if the relevant payment tools are discontinued.
17. Taxes and mandatory payments
Creators bear sole responsibility for:
- declaring income;
- paying taxes;
- submitting reports;
- complying with the laws of their country of residence.
Creators determine their own tax status and bear the associated obligations.
18. Limitation of platform liability
voomy does not guarantee any particular level of income, number of subscribers, views, or financial results.
A creator's income depends on demand for the content they publish and audience activity.
The platform is not responsible for the commercial success or failure of a creator's activity.
19. Changes to the Monetization Policy
voomy may amend this Monetization Policy as the platform evolves, laws change, payment partner requirements change, or the service's business model changes.
The current version of the document is always published on the platform's official website.
Continued use of monetization tools after changes take effect constitutes the creator's acceptance of the new version of the Monetization Policy.
